In late 2014, during my short period of study in Canada, I had the opportunity to learn some analog photography techniques. It was at this time that I got to know the work of several photographers, among which Jan Saudek and Joel-Peter Witkin were the ones that most marked me. The uncomfortable scenes, absurd compositions, and unusual models fascinated me. Also, part of the technique from both involved the damage of photographic and negative papers, causing even more discomfort and noise in the images. Part of these techniques and other explorations were briefly covered in my essays.

Unfortunately, in 2015 I returned to Brazil where I ended up not working with this type of analog technique anymore. I leave here the following images as a nostalgic record. And a huge thanks to my friend Virna Varela, which is an amazing model!
